Biography

Born and raised in the heart of the south, Tarah grew up knowing storytelling not only as a tradition but as an art. Performing in Georgia's Official Folk Life Play; Swamp Gravy from the age of three to eighteen, needless to say, storytelling has been a big part of her life. Tarah received her Bachelors degree in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design to continue telling her's and other's stories through photographs. Sloan is currently based in the Denver area where she enjoys photographing the brilliant landscapes of the Rocky Mountains on the weekends and on the week days she has fun goofing around with kids as a preschool Lifetouch photographer capturing their smiles.
